Bangladesh and India will jointly host the 2031 ODI World Cup. In a statement, the ICC said that Bangladesh will co-host the 2031 World Cup with India.
Previously, Bangladesh was the joint organizer of the 2011 World Cup. The Bangladesh Cricket Board jointly hosted the World Cup with India and Sri Lanka. Then in 2014 it hosted the T20 World Cup alone.
After that, Bangladesh also became the host of the Asian Cup. Bangladesh wants to be the organizer again. Also, a few days ago it was heard that the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) wants to organize the ICC Champions Trophy.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the names of all the world's organizers of men's cricket for the next eight years. The decision was announced in an official statement on Tuesday (November 18).
On that schedule, the 2024 T20 World Cup will be held jointly in the West Indies and the United States. Then the 2025 Champions Trophy will be in Pakistan. Another Twenty20 World Cup in 2026, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Then in 2026, African countries will host another ODI World Cup. The ODI World Cup will take place in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
