UFC 249 Date, Start Time, Venue, Live Stream, Full Card, and Free Bets
UFC 249 has been rescheduled and we have all the information you need for details, including date, time, venue, free bets, full card, and live-stream details.
UFC 249 UFC President Dana White looks forward to asking for a second time after confirming a new date and location for the event.
It looked like fans would see their dream match until the end when they asked for the title in the line between Tony Ferguson and undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
But the Ferguson vs. Khabib curse hits again when the champ comes out because he was in his birthplace Russia where the border was closed when the country was about to lockdown.
Determined to move the show forward, White only got a new opponent from Justin Geithz Ferguson for ECN and Disney to pull the plug on the April 18 event.
With some good news for Fight fans, White has confirmed that the event will now take place elsewhere and with somewhat altered but nonetheless impressive cards. Here's what you need to know about UFC 249 as the big night approaches quickly.
UFC 249 When and when will it start?
UFC 249 was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 18, but will now be held on Saturday, May 9.
The start time is yet to be determined, but previous UFC events originally saw the event usually start around 4-5am and start at midnight in the UK.
Where is UFC 249 being held?
UFC 249 was originally scheduled to take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and the event was speculated after it was confirmed that the fight would not take place there.
White claimed he was away from securing a new UFC 249 venue, away from a ‘private island’, where he could continue fighting among international fighters.
The new venue is Taki Palace Casino Resort near Lemore, California. The casinos are owned by the Tachi Yokut Tribe and are recognized by the federal government, meaning they are not governed by U.S. law, allowing them to host UFC 249.
Following the cancellation, however, UFC 249 will now be held at the Vister Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, where only staff and crew were present.
