Live sports can go on for quite some time, but the mind of the world leader is on the HORSE this weekend. Ready to create, this weekend promises a little direct competition for fans to watch Leader this weekend face-to-face with current and former NBA stars and WNBA players from all over the country on Sunday afternoon, with a first-round action tipping at 7:30 pm PT / 7PM ESPN On and on via the ESPN app Aine live streaming.

Sunday's two-hour broadcast will feature a single-elimination shooting competition, and the semi-finals and championships of the NBA Horse Challenge on April 16 will be broadcast at 6pm on April 16 continue ET / 9PM ET, broadcast live on ESPN and streaming on the ESPN app. Here are the face-to-face competitors from Sunday evening:

First-round matchups

Trey Young vs. Chauncey Billops

Tamika Catchings vs. Mike Conley

Zach Lovain vs. Paul Pierce

Chris Paul vs. Ollie Quigley

Players will compete for shot-and-play at a traditional teahouse playground. A more senior player will place a shooting order for players to toss a coin with a head or tail call. First, a player must describe each shot attempt and specify the way they want to score before trying. For example, if they intend to make the basket that way, they will need to call "bank" or "swish". Dunking will not be allowed. When trying to match an attempt, missing a player's letter results in a missed shot. The first player in each game has accumulated the letters "H-O-R-S-E" after failing to match five shots. The winners will advance to the semifinal round on April 7.
